Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to manage and maintain IT operations in a fast-paced environment. This role includes providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of systems, including those supporting creative and media-related workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and an ability to adapt to diverse IT and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and maintain workstations, servers, and specialized tools, including those used in creative workflows.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of video editing software and media-related applications.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing issues proactively.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in production and operations.
- Perform regular maintenance, backups, and updates for all IT systems and related equipment.
- Document technical processes and provide training and support to staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for specialized hardware and software support.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2+ years in IT support, preferably in a dynamic or creative environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT systems, including Windows, MacOS, and networking.
- Familiarity with creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of media-related IT systems like editing tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Edit and fact check timely English news texts translated from Burmese
- Proofread and edit English articles and scripts for TV& online publishing
- Review and revise content for accuracy, grammar and journalistic relevance
- Track and write about international (diplomatic economic) news on Burma
- Provide English-language support to other editorial teams (subtitles, etc.)
- Respect and carry out duties in line with DVB editorial guidelines and values
Specifications
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experienced in curating, writing and editing news content
- Excellent writing, editing, communication and organizational skills
- Strong and factual knowledge of Burmese politics and human rights issues
- Proactive, creative and detail-oriented team player.

- အရေးပါမှု၊ လက်ရှိကာလနှင့် ကိုက်ညီမှု၊ ပရိသတ်သိရှိလိုမှုတို့အပေါ် မူတည်၍ သတင်းအစီအစဉ်တွင် ရှေ့နောက်နေရာချထားခြင်း။
- အရည်အသွေး ပြည့်မီသောသတင်း အစီအစဉ်ကို အချိန်မီ ထုတ်လုပ် တင်ဆက်နိုင်ရေး အတွက် သတင်းအယ်ဒီတာ၊ သတင်းထောက်၊ သတင်းဖတ်ကြား တင်ဆက်သူ ၊ ရိုက်ကူး တည်းဖြတ်ရေး စတူဒီယိုအဖွဲ့သားများနှင့် ပူးပေါင်း အလုပ်လုပ်ခြင်း။
တာဝန်
- သတင်း အယ်ဒီတာနှင့်အတူ သတင်းများကို နေ့စဉ်ရွေးချယ်စိစစ်ပေးခြင်း။
- သတင်းထောက်များ၏ သတင်းများကို စစ်ဆေးပြီး အရည်အသွေးမီသည့် သတင်း ဖြစ်လာ အောင် ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးခြင်း။
- သတင်းတိုများ ရေးသားပေးခြင်း။
- စတူဒီယိုအဖွဲ့နှင့် ပူးပေါင်း၍ သတင်းရိုက်ကူး တည်းဖြတ်ခြင်း။
- သတင်းအတွက် လိုအပ်သော ဂရပ်ဖစ်ဒီဇိုင်းနှင့် အရုပ်များကို သက်ဆိုင်ရာ ဌာနမှ ရယူခြင်း။
- သတ်မှတ်ထားသော အချိန်အတိုင်း ပြည့်မီအောင် အစီအစဉ်တွင် သတင်းများကို ထည့်သွင်းခြင်း။
- လက်ရှိနှင့် ကိုက်ညီသော အင်တာဗျူးများကို စီစဉ်ထုတ်လုပ်ခြင်း။
- သတင်းဖတ်ကြားတင်ဆက်သူကို သတင်း အစီအစဉ်နှင့် ပတ်သက်ပြီး ရှင်းလင်း ပြောပြခြင်း။
- အယ်ဒီတာမူဝါဒနှင့်အညီ ဆုံးဖြတ်တတ်ခြင်း။
- သတင်း အရေးအသားတွင် ကျွမ်းကျင်ခြင်း။
